BC handles Central Connecticut

I don't know if you consider these game tune ups or win padders or filler, but BC did what it was supposed to do in their win over Central Connecticut. The first half wasn't great. BC couldn't shake CCSU even as BC was killing them on the boards and forcing turnovers. Yet, Central Connecticut kept making the most of their chances and shot well.

The second half was a different story. BC pulled away comfortably. Beyond the guards, the good game of note was from Popovic. He did all the things pretty well (even D) and was pretty productive. Mitchell had a good game too and cleaned up on the glass.

BC is off for the week and then takes on Richmond next weekend.

These cupcake games are just scrimmages. Wake me up when ACC competition begins.

There are a lot of very young raw big men for Danya to work with what is Christian waiting for

Women over powering UNH in overtime Jarmond should be shooting for Iveey of ND or
Ralph of UConn.

After the Hartford loss last lear, I take nothing for granted. You don't want Christian running the starters 35-40 minutes in these ones, but they ought to be giving 20 good minutes (12/8) to establish the tempo and lead and then work the youth in.

We have regionally competition, and hopefully in the near future we are confident to schedule the better Ivies, MAAC, and CAA as opposed to the bottom of the NEC and AEC. Even at 9-9 in the ACC, the NCSOS would put BC to the bottom of the bubble scrap heap.

BC basketball wishes it were in the so called bubble scrap heap. Smelling a rat.
