BC pulls out another close win at home

Being in a lot of close games means constantly pressing your luck. I hope that every BC game is a blowout win, but I will gladly take a win like Saturday's over Miami. Bowman sealed the game with a few last second free throws. It was part of a run that flipped the game in the final minutes.

Bowman finished with 24 points. Robinson exploded again, this time for 29.  It was typical of our recent ACC wins as those two and Chatman all played 40 minutes. JC only went seven deep. The D was rough early, but tightened down the stretch.

BC next takes the court in a road game at Pitt.

A dynamite win over #25 Hurricanes ending 10 game losing streak to the U.
Next attend to Pitt (Must not overlook) then the FAUX IRISH and get that BAST Boheim.
GO BC "Make the echoes ring again FOR BOSTON"
Great call by Meta and Danya and for a few minutes young female assistant.
PS For Danya all his Philadelphia fans hope he enjoyed OUR "PHILLY"

Anyone know if Jerome is testing NBa waters?

I would assume that if he gets a first round grade he will leave. Hard to pass up millions and risk injury by coming back. There were 21 NBA scouts and executives in attendance yesterday including Danny Ainge. Would guess most were there to see him

Told you suckers three months ago Christian was "letting them play."

Boston Globe quote today.

“Just keep the ball in Jerome’s hands,” said Eagles coach Jim Christian. “He was making some ridiculous plays and rather than running an action to try to get him the ball, just give him the ball and just let him go. He’s playing so well, just get him the ball.”

His recruiting has improved as his coaching philosophy has the last 18 months.

The micromanagement by college coaches is friggin ridiculous. Being succinct they only do it because they are overpaid.

Christian should give him Olivier Hanlans phone number.

Looking at the NBA draft projections, Robinson is nowhere near being drafted.

I have to wonder just how many BC law school graduates are on the draft list for the big firms. I also wonder just how many nursing school graduates are on the list for the big hospitals. Sports in America has gone way over the edge in perspective. Once Tom Brady becomes more important than the president regardless of whether it was Obama or now with Trump, this country has a major problem with priorities.

No one would offer anyone a big contract unless
They felt certain that they would make even more money off the athlete.
It’s all a game.

Bravesbill - Robinson is probably a top 10 shooting guard in the nation, and questionably the ACC POY. If he decides to come out he will ABSOLUTELY be drafted. Maybe that means in the second round, but he’s averaging 26 ppg in conference play, in the best conference in America

NYCEagle said...

He’s shooting 57% from the floor and 50% from 3 in ACC play...

Bravesbill said...

I agree with you NYC. Easily should be the ACC POY. Just reporting what I read.

He's not a top 100 prospect in ESPN.

Great Win.

ESPN released a mock draft that has him going 27th in the 2019 draft to San Antonio

Jesus, ESPN has 2019 Mock? Are they just trolling themselves at this point?

Robinson should ride the high wave out, as his stock is not going to get much higher. Since the NBA is more about hype than performance, he might not want to hire an agent till after the workouts.
