Johnson is a pro-style QB who is currently very tall and somewhat skinny. My guess is the coaching staff expects him to fill out a bit as he matures and gets into a college program.
He said all the right things in his media appearances with regards to the BC education and the environment around the team. He plans to enroll this winter.
Good luck to Sam and welcome to BC.

Glad to see Dazzle-Not has left his stumble-bum qbs behind . A very slow learner.
Hopefully Jessica can crank up a few more wins in ACC tournament.
What is going on with Deonate???????
This was a very solid pickup for BC. I watched his HUDL film and I’m not sure the last time we got a kid with this much natural arm talent. He’s extremely accurate for a high schooler and can already air it out at 195 pounds. He’ll be 235 by the time he actually hits the field. Good wheels for a guy his size as well
Solid recruit - now let's get some promising OT's to join him.
Very tall, very skinny? Are we talking like Lee Scruggs here?
Great pickup for BC! He's a high 3-star recruit (ESPN has him as a 4 star for what it's worth), with all the intangibles you could ask for. Very high football IQ, great accuracy and touch on the ball, 6'4" which is an ideal qb height, and is a pro style qb who can run vs the the dual threat who can pass that Daz typically recruits. Rumor has it, Ryan Day and Ohio State were sniffing around the day before he committed to BC.
He fits the TOB mold of smart, tall and accurate. His QB's all went pro.
Hope this guy stays healthy and out of trouble (like all of our high end recruits).
Who was his primary BC recruiter?
Scott Loeffler
