Final scrimmage complete

Addazio wrapped up his final scrimmage and the team will now start prepping for UMass. In the video below, he doesn't seem that excited, but the reports on the scrimmage were positive. Brown looked good and Dillon shined in limited action. Both backup QBs played well and the penalties were less of an issue. To an outsider, that all seems like good news. Maybe Addazio is just trying to contain expectations. Or maybe he also knows scrimmages don't matter -- UMass does.

We are a little light on the defensive line.......

Pretty sure Daz meant depth.

Anxious to see the 2 deep roster.

Go BC - beat UMass.

My biggest fear about BC teams since Addazio took over is that they never seem prepared for situational football. Two minute drills, down by 10 with say 4 minutes left and trying to make a quick score, stop, attempt to win. Each time I've seen that the past 3-4 years the players look lost, disorganized, and Addazio is just pacing the sidelines staring at the ground. It became glaringly obvious with that Wake Forest game back in 2015, and consistent throughout some of the other games since.

The talent seems there this year. If they aren't at the very least prepared and aware of what needs to happen in some of the higher pressure situations, then I don't care what the end of season record is.

Preparation and Awareness are the biggest improvements I'd like to see this season.

Bowl game last year they looked like shit late too. Granted playing on an ice skating rink in is third rate footwear didn't help.

It is a wonder how some of these coaches get their jobs when they dont handle the details well. Like call two plays in the huddle so if you don't score on the first you save 15 seconds and can run the second.

I will be watching the first game against UMass from the esteemed Coconut Grove nightclub. While John Fish will be in attendance, Brad Bates will unfortunately have to cancel on account of a lengthy dentist's appointment. I have full confidence this year's team will make us proud and MAKE THE ECHOES RING AGAIN! AB has a rocket of an arm that I have not seen since Christian Suntrup graced Chestnut Hill.

@BCEagles2014: I would have thought that you would wait to eat dinner at Cocoanut Grove on the night of the HC game. Who knows? Maybe, it will burn down again.

Of course easy out for Urban Meyer, won't miss a step, Daz and Jarmond move on, performance on the field for BC the only important factor
