NJ Linebacker commits

BC ended the week with some good news -- New Jersey Linebacker Shitta Sillah verbaled to Addazio. He's a three star with the services and considered a Top 20 player in New Jersey. His Power 5 offers included Michigan State, Purdue, Duke, Syracuse, Rutgers and Nebraska. He's tall but not filled out yet, so maybe he could move to some sort of DE role. Welcome aboard, Shitta.

Watching his HUDL film I thought exactly that. He exclusively played rush OLB in high school, similar to a Von Miller role. That being said, he’s long and explosive and makes you feel it when he gets to the ball. I think they probably look at him in the same mold as Harold Landry. Pack 40-50 pounds on that great frame, he’ll be 6’4” 255 before he even steps on the field. He’ll give tackles and QBs fits. Great pickup. I know that Eichenberg is listed as a linebacker but I think he also projects more as a D end. Add in Ness at the 3 technique and Henderson (his HS teammate) at DT, BC has a very solid 4 across future for their defensive line. Ham one level behind them flying sideline to sideline. There’s a lot to like about this class

*7th* in the ACC. Which is probably right around BC’s ceiling. That’s fine. You can win with the 35th ranked recruiting class in the country. BC should never be below 40

The interesting thing about it is that Virginia, Duke and Wake Forest offered. Harkens back to the early mid 2000's.

Yeaster is checking in I know it is good thing.

Ahhh. Back to the bar.

His mother did him no favors by labeling him.
