Wake is a pretty decent offense but I still think our defense is going to cost us some games this season. Not making critical plays at critical times.

Against a below average D1 team I would say the defense is awful. Mixed extra point could loom large especially since they can’t even kick a field goal if they get into Wake territory and it’s fourth down
Why does that crappy looking delayed run work for WF? I'll have to look at those runs in slow motion. The RB just slowly waits for the blocks and then moves, but the whole thing develops and our guys should be able to control the line enough to stuff it more than not.

Love the win. And it is a great establishment of BCs passing acumen which should benefit the run as the rest of the schedule starts to scheme for the passing game, too. But. The O-line is not dominant or, at least, as dominant as they to or we were led to believe. That needs to be realized. For now, savor this.
Hopefully the Offensive Line will improve each week. They certainly could. Did the coach do the right thing moving Petrula back to Right Tackle from Center? Big Ben could clear out some space for AJ.

BC has probably given up more blocked punts for TDs than every other school in the country combined. Blow up the entire special teams unit and start over. The secondary played pretty well but the vaunted D line and linebackers struggled. Part of it has to be due to the fact Wake ran 105 plays which is crazy but they were consistent getting pushed around throughout the game. Let’s hope Brown can keep this up.
Who looked more impressive? Clemson or BC? Didn't Wake beat A&M last year? In 2015 and 2016 BC averaged 17 and 20 points respectively. In their last 12 contests they are averaging 35. A quantum leap.
