Miami using off week to shake things up

Mark Richt named old starter and recent backup Malik Rosier the starter for the BC game. He also said that former backup turned starter turned demoted QB Kosi Perry will also play. If this is all confusing to you, great. It is clearly confusing to Miami.

The only downside for BC in all of this is having to prepare for two different QBs. But neither should be a real problem since they are both very mistake prone and inaccurate. The trouble comes when they run. Miami's D is also pretty good.

What I like about Richt's issues is that BC's night game and rowdy crowd to honor Welles Crowther will only add to the tension on the Miami sidelines. If either QB struggles, look for a quick hook. If both struggle, who knows what will happen.

Our D has issues. But if they can create pressure on the Miami QBs, this will get interesting.

The point of no return !!!!!! Win this also FSU and the Cuse and a respectable bowl
game a good season and a top 20-25 season end waits.
Lose this and Dazzo-shit should be run out of town.

How many Miami games has BC won since the Flutie miracle - two? Miami always seems too fast and too talented. Hope it changes this season.

Mod cannot wait. If BC loses he will have something other than his sad life to complain about.

Going to be cold & rainy. Miami will want no part of game like FSU last year.

BC in great shape to finish strong. Get Dillon back healthy, stop fumbling and limit penalties and 3-2 or 4-1 is possible.

For some reason fans think we are playing good Miami and FSU teams. Miami will end year with 3-4 losses if not more. NC state is 2nd best team in ACC followed by VT then BC.

At the end of the day BC is 5-2, 2 losses are against the 2nd (NCSTATE) and 3rd (Purdue - watch they will beat Ohio State this week) best teams on our schedule, both away. When season opened we thought Miami, FSU and VT were all good, they are not so change your thought process and actually watch the games

This team/year is better then fans here are saying and we should have optimistic view entering into 2nd half.

Good you got the message and started using the odds. Took two years for you to figure out that you don't need to use probabilities with your own predictions. Dummy.

Shabby, my heart is with your rosy prediction but my brain says otherwise. You totally overlook the Dazoshit factor in mucking games up.

Players are doing that this year. It will take a clean game against Clemson Syracuse and/or VT to get wins in those games.

Players cannot fuck up and the play calling cannot be from 1950 for a half and then open up in the second half.

In all honesty I expect BC to go 2-3 the next 5 games, culminating in yet another 7-5 season. I get having consistent "winning" records is a big improvement over the Spaz years, but when do we decide that's not enough? Every year, playing for the ACC Championship should be the goal and anything less is a disappointment. I don't want to hear any excuses about youth, injuries, schedule, etc. Play with the expectation to win every week, and the rest will come together.

I concur.

A 2-3 finish? Sounds about right from Seven-Win Steve.

I’m trying to be optimistic because I do feel Miami is overrated (bad QB play means you stink regardless of how much talent you have). BC is beating FSU and should beat Cuse. That gives us 8 and I don’t want seven win Steve.

I agree with Mod 100% that at 7-5 nothing happens, MJ doesn’t want to rock the boat, he wants out of BC asap and if he picks a new coach and it fails miserably that will hurt his chances. If Daz just keeps winning 7 games and makes poor bowl appearances that they can win he can push the narrative of 5 straight bowl appearances under his tenure, blah blah blah

I do think BC is having a good year, Temple is a better win then people think and Ville & Wake are solid wins. If they win 8 and compete vs VT and keep it close vs Clemson then that is a fun year for BC fans. Let’s not get greedy.

Anything less is disappointing

Beat VT - screw them.

I wish Clemson was in Raleigh this Saturday, but it's the other way around. I hope NC State puts up a good fight.

@Wake: Clemson 63-3, BC 31-24----Syracuse @ Clemson 23-27---Syracuse is not a .61 win even at home.

Here's an amazing stat from a post on the other blog.....

............"after seeing this amazing stat from the Joe Moore Award (retweeted by BC Football): the BC OL faces seven or more defenders in the box 81.3% of the time, which is 24.6% higher than the ACC average." To do what the OL has done when the opposing defense knows exactly what’s coming is deserving of an A grade.

Conversely, it speaks to the terrible play calling and coaching (which I know is the subject of a future post)."

The beauty of Addazio ball and how to get your runners injured - run into a brick wall 81% of the time - or higher.

Go BC players - throw off the shackles. Audible, audible, audible, Mr. Brown!
