Something was written earlier in the week about people thinking the bandana game was exploiting the family. Whomever thinks or says that is wrong.
BC has won 3 of the last 4 games with Miami
Met some people with a son at BU who congratulated me on our very successful men's
water polo team staffed by Californians . As Meter and Pete always say take a BOW
Water polo.
Would be very nice if we could take all remaining games except for Clemson.
THIS WOULD MAKE THE ECHOES RING AGAIN.
BC back in the rankings. Next four games will define the season. VT and FSU look the most vulnerable. 8-4 with a decent bowl would represent progress but 9-3 sounds a lot better and would keep BC ranked going into the bowl game.
Agreed. I am familiar with the family and they absolutely embrace it and the show of support from BC. It’s a great tradition and way to honor Welles. Should be held closer to 9/11 in my opinion, but hats off to BC to working with the Crowthers on this.
Welles Crowther is quite a legacy and his being identified as a 1999 graduate is quite a "plum". However, isn't it strange that he developed his grit playing varsity lacrosse at BC. Now, the only ones playing lax at BC are Title IX supporters along with their brethren on the ice rink. Jim Brown of Syracuse lacrosse fame would be rolling over in his grave and he isn't even dead yet. James Fenimore Cooper along with Natty Bumppo and "the last of the Mohicans" would be highly perplexed.
