Jags throws TOB under the bus and other links

From ESPN.com:
"We're going to have to use a lot of young backs. I was left with none after last year, and that's just the way it is. Same with the offensive line. I've got all freshmen behind them. I guess we will find out how good a coach I am this year."

Regardless of who left what, Jags does have to win this year. Only some excuses will fly. However, I hope those outside the program start to realize what TOB did and did not do.

Great story about walk-on Mark Maglio getting a scholarship. Someone get this kid on Youtube!

BC has one of the best defensive lines in college football.

BC will host the opener of the preseason NIT.

Concerning "One of the Best Defensive Lines" and the comment
"After Alex Albright, who’s outstanding, the Eagles are dangerously thin at defensive end..." We've got Jim Ramella and right after both of them we have Austin Giles, Allan Smith, Brad Newman (who has switched over) and true freshman Max Holloway. I think Max will be a (big) contributor his first year, just like Albight was. I don't know much about Christian Klein and one or two others - but I think we stack up well. BC obviously is looking for fast DE's.

While we might be a little "thin" because of Brady Smith - these guys are good.

I love that BC is matched up against Loyola in the preseason NIT, another Jesuit school and my sister went there...

nice to see our overall D as #6.

also, our WRs came in at #12... definitely potential here, let's see how they perform and how Crane can utilize them.

on another note, when checking the rankings for special teams, I decided to start from the bottom up. Anyone looking for a scholarship to college should go out in their back yard for about 20minutes, and then apply to the 20 or so schools that were ranked below BC.
