Tuggle on top?

Boston.com is reporting that Tuggle is now No.1 on the depth chart and the likely starter against NU. With Shinskie's status still unknown, Marscovetra is second and Boek third.

This can be a good thing. Tuggle has improved, has a decent arm and should be able to make a play or two happen. Let's hope this is the start of a brilliant career.

With the McCluskey injury, time to move Boek back to FB.

Nothing about that article is particularly encouraging.

It's Tuggle now, unless Shinskie makes it back, then it's a maybe Tuggle maybe Shinskie situation. Tuggle has only been "off" from game-speed football for nearly two years. Shinskie...six. Is this becoming about who has played the least bad?

By the way, what's the scuttlebutt on Momah's injury?

I think this is great news. I remember everyone pining for Tuggle last year when we endured our QB struggles. If he was good enough for BC fans then, he should be good enough now. The first two games should afford the opportunity to play all 3 QB's if we can muster a big lead. This will give Spaz the opportunity to evaluate each QB in game situations without setting up a quarterback controversy.

Let's go Tuggle!
