Just saw a Tweet indicating that there is not single BC item in Fenway's souvenir shop - all ND. Makes me even angrier about this stupid "away" game, if that is possible.
Outrageous! BC needs to stop giving money to Fenway Sports Group. My (real, not-cartoonish) Irish is up over that one.
They got us meatballs in the cafeteria.

This isn't a neutral site game. We wouldn't expect the bookstore in south bend to sell any BC gear. Notes Dame was coming to Fenway whether we were there or not. I'd much rather the Eagles be on the field, than seeing UConn or UMASS playing in Boston.
Regardless of that, FSG hasn't done a thing for us and strikes me as one of the last poisonous actions of GDF that we need to exercised.
Fenway Sports Management is a joke. According to their own website, their biggest accomplishment is getting meatballs served at BC:

Been having a couple before the game and ran into some Notre Dame folk. Ended up them giving me 28 points on a substantial wager. It's all Notre Dame here. It seems like South Bend. Go BC.
This whole scene is an insult. I am with Hoib, we need an AD from around here. Let UMass or Uconn be served up for this propaganda show.

The game starts with a hand me down to the 35 yard line. ND moves downfield like a hot knife through butter. BC looks inept. Kizer then makes a mistake and Johnson makes a terrific interception. With the interference call which even Flutie says is a good call, you can see Addazio mouth out "m----r f----r)". What kind of coach is this? Even Brian Kelly keeps his cool and never uses m.f.

You know why we're in trouble when 26 is our leading receiver. He shouldn't even be a starter, or on the field at all. I know he plays hard, but that's about it.

Good for Matt Milano (28). He never quits. He has another special teams tackle. BJK is right about Dudeck. BC is running a junior high offense. Fadule is terrible. Last game, he was 14 yards rushing in 15 attempts. It was just announced that Addazio has been warned about coming on to the field.

Congratulations to the defense for holding for a field goal. The defense looks good. The double coverage on the third down play in the end zone was fantastic. Stephen Daniels almost created a big break with a fumble. The knee was down as agreed to by Dougie.
Why is 26 even on the field for a kickoff? Addazio is stupid in his loyalty.
It will be hard for them to take that away from us.
I didn't see a depth chart for this game. We need Willis on. This isn't the type of game for Rouse.

Congrats D for not quiting, and is anyone else concerned that the offense or O-line has not gotten any better all year. I think we would see some progress at this point but it looks like week 1. As for special teams I am thinking Addazio hasn't figured out it is actually a part of the game

I want Fitch fired yesterday. We gained 2 yards after the 60 yard return. Should have had a touchdown.
Let's give credit where credit is due. The snap on the fg was terrible. It was Howell who rescued it and set it down. A 67 yard return by Walker and the offense can then gain about one yard. Fitch has to go.
Defense bails them out again. However, if the offense can't move the ball, they will be forced to defend a very short field on the next possession. It's really too bad that we have wasted a great defense on such a horrific offense. Total shame.

I don't know why I torture myself by watching this. They have not scored more than 14 points since the Clemson game and they would need to score 20 to win this. The chance of that happening is about 5%. And yet I still watch. Why?

At least it was a joy to see some real Boston College uniforms; i.e., with the real "block" BC interlocked logo--not that slanted abomination they came up with about 20 years ago.

The play selection has been a source of irritation for sure. Fitch needs to go, and Addazio needs to step away from the offense completely.
