Another good sign for BC Basketball -- adding elite talent late in the recruiting cycle. This time it is North Carolina guard Kyran Bowman. He's highly regarded yet somewhat of a unique case. For most of his high school career, Bowman was considered a football prospect. He received offers from many Power 5 teams and verballed to UNC. Later he changed his mind to basketball and reopened the recruiting process. He has one of the better offer lists of recent Christian recruits.
Where Bowman fits will be determined later. He is probably not a Day 1 point guard, but should be a contributer early. He has the athleticism and toughness to do it. Good luck to him and welcome to BC.

shocking bit of good news this week. first the transfer, now this kid. this team is absolutely starving for talent, and it appears like both bring certain skills to the table.
Good news. Welcome to him and his family.
a good get.
i really want to believe this thing can get turned around...
Agree mod but I think Spinelli will prove his value. This kid has potential - we'll see. All you need in hoops are a couple of special players and a decent supporting cast to be competitive. Just wish we had one big who could consistently take advantage of all the junk available under the basket during any game and consistently make open layups. During most of last year (until Clifford improved) there were so many times we muffed easy shots under the hoop. The best thing about Craig Smith and Danya Abrams was that they almost always hit their open layups off rebounds or blown coverage.
M34 b has a great string going; never a single positive post. negative snark rules.
Nice snappy response and negativity goes on unabated
