This article is not about BC, but does show what ESPN and the Conference is requiring for campus video infrastructure. By 2018, every school needs to have production facilities on campus, production personnel, and fiber cables directly to ESPN (to avoid satellite trucks). Public records show the costs in Virginia and Virginia Tech are ranging between $5 and $7 million.
I don't know if the ACC Network will be a financial success, but it looks like the conference and ESPN are committing the resources needed so that there will be lots of coverage and quality production.

Could result in over-saturation. Which would cause the opposite effect of what is desired - complete apathy.
If BC doesn't pick it up a notch, it won't matter. There is already apathy. Father Leahy appears to be using his politically correct Jesuit logic to advance women's Lacrosse to the level of men's football. All of the 28 Jesuit Colleges and Universities are on the same page with a left wing pope.
JBQ, I like the way you think. Left-wing PC dogma on our college campuses has morphed into athletics.
@Georgia Eagle: And you being retired military can see the truth behind the "smoke and mirrors". We just have to keep plodding along and pray for a divine intervention. BC has quite a noble history that the radical lefties are trying to tear down one brick at a time. It can't go on for much longer before a "kickback" to reset the clock, can it?
We need conservative leaders with gonads, including ADs and coaching staffs.
Unfortunately, I don't see that happening at BC or any Catholic University.
It seems I'm on the right track, I hope I can do well. The result was something I did and was doing to implement it.
