BC announced the members of their first Fan Council. The release didn't bother explaining who the members are or what their affiliation is to BC. I remain cynical as to how much impact the Council will ultimately have, but at this point Jarmond has very little to lose.

the innuendo on other BC sites/boards is that the "Fan Council" is made up of BC employees, donors and significant others employees and donors. can we get confirmation from the school that these people are actually paying fans and not just lackeys? if Jarmond's first move is to create a fake council under the guise of soliciting real input, that'd be a real bad move.
"EL MIZ" makes a good point. Other than that, this is a slow business day but it won't be for long. My math says 15 days for BC and only 9 for the start of the college season for such as Stanford.
If the recruit from Texas is a good player it will help us tremendously with recruiting that area going forward.
He is an under the radar signing for us.
Not that it necessarily means anything, as I'm in Alabama, but I do follow all things BC pretty closely; I've never heard of any of the council members.
I think it includes more average folks. Have to figure the heavy hitters already make their views known.

Thank you for updating. I agree. At least they should explain who the member are.
