Zach Allen's decision to return to BC was a reminder that another elite BC Defensive End returned for a senior season just a year ago. Harold Landry came back for many of the same reasons as Allen, including the goal of becoming a first round draft pick. Injuries derailed most of Landry's season, but not his chance at the NFL. But did he do enough to be a first-round pick? Here are what the early mock drafts say:
-- Bleacher Report: To Tampa at No. 7
-- USA Today: To Tennessee at No. 21
-- The Sporting News: To Arizona at No. 16
Now these guesses don't guarantee anything, but it does reinforce the idea that Landry's stock is still high. The Senior Bowl, the Combine and individual workouts will give him the chance to move up...or down. He needs to prove he is healthy and that his 2016 season is just a glimpse of what he can do.

Is he still alive?
I'm stunned his stock is still that high.
Sounds like he wasn't brutally injured this season. You know what that means.
Landry played half a season and was not dominant or particularly impressive.
I'm ginseng him as 3rd/4th round pick.
Mod34 is retarded. If Landry were white, I am sure Mod34 would project him in the 1st round.
Landry's value must have taken a nosedive . I do not take much stock in the various websites that project him 1st round . After last year (his stats were off the charts) , he was advised to stay in school and further enhance his status. At that point , he was projected LATE 1st round or EARLY 2nd round. Now after a shortened season where his limited performance was "Shaky" , people are saying he is still 1st round material - I doubt it very much. I said to a BC friend that he should have entered last year and UNFORTUNATELY , I believe that my advice will have proved accurate. The only way that he climbs back in the draft is an outstanding Senior Bowl and an incredible pro workout.!!!! I hope that he accomplishes the latter , since he seems to be a "real nice young man".
He is a pure edge rusher. NFL as a whole overvalues that role. You notice the teams looking at him there, losers(yes, Tennessee won a playoff game because they cheap shoted Kelece out of the game).
TGS, the moron amongst morons, thinks he is under valued at 7. Remember his "son" goes to Providence College and TGS couldn't be more proud.
Let's keep crushing it, guys.
KEEP. CRUSHING. IT.
He plays a position of value and proved he could do his job at a high level last year. He missed half the season and looked average when he played this year. Can't see him going in first unless he kills in workouts.
PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE, fella.
