Basketball schedule and other links

The basketball schedule was finally released. Games of note include Kansas, Michigan in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge and BC and Maryland kicking off the ACC schedule in December. The best home games are Saint Louis, Kansas, UNC, NC State and UVA. Unfortunately, no Duke and no chance for College Gameday on campus.

Here is an article on Tyronne Pruitt.

Here is a clip of Craig Smith joking about the T'Wolves dance team. (Thanks to Collin for sending the link.)

Best quote from Shaughnessy's article:

The head football job has changed, too. Despite recent success, alums are restless. They want better bowls. Seven straight postseason wins sounds good, but the double-, and triple-Eagles have had just about enough Meineke, Jeep Eagle, and Continental Tire bowls. Enough with the car parts. BC boosters are hungry for something that grows naturally -- like Cotton, Sugar, Peach, or Orange.

Although I normally don't like his articles, this couldn't have been put any better.

usc is pretty much the bc of the west coast and i'd love to see us play them in basketball at some point. maybe as a payback for the thumping they're going to give us on the gridiron. it would have been perfect when we had smith/dudley/marshall.

wasn't it sc who beat us when we went for a layup down 3 pts in the tourny a few years back?

Ya it was. One of the most bone-headed plays I have ever seen. To this day I still blame Al Skinner, and I never was a Troy Bell fan ever.

WWKHD? What would Kenny Harley do? Take a 2 point layup when we needed 3 ...

USC the BC of the west coast? Yeah, except WAY better at football ...

Agree with Willis that I don't like Shaughnessy much, but loved the car parts quote.
